Beaches Resorts Introduces FamilyMoon

Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 08:15AM

sandals_sp415_bas.jpgBeaches Resorts has created FamilyMoons as an extension of the popular WeddingMoons concept, which combines the wedding and honeymoon into one idyllic location.  FamilyMoons are designed to join not just two people, but two families into one ... bride, groom, and their children particiate in a Unity Sand Ceremony.

The latest addition to the Beaches Resorts FamilyMoons package is the Unity Sand Ceremony, slated to begin July 1, 2006, at all four Beaches Resorts, symbolizes – with Caribbean white sand - the coming together of two families into one.  Brides, grooms and their children each receive nesting vases, with the side vessels representing each of the family members and the center vessel – their new family.  Each member takes turns pouring sand into the common center vessel, physically representing the union of two into one.

The Beaches FamilyMoons package is complimentary to groups who book 10 rooms or more and includes the following: a ceremony location; personalized gifts; the services of a professional wedding consultant and of a Beaches FamilyMoons Concierge; Unity Sand Ceremony; group discounts; and, for an added fee, the choice of Preston Bailey Signature WeddingMoons package. Rates at Beaches start at $275 per person, per night for adults and $90 per child 15 and younger, per night through December 21, 2006. Kids two-years-old or younger stay free.
