Bora Bora Pearl Resort, Manea Spa named Leading Spas of the World and Provides Guests with Authentic Polynesian Experience

Manea Spa of Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa has been welcomed into the prestigious association of Leading Spas of the World.

Since its April debut, the full-service Manea Spa has enjoyed great success as the third in a series of signature Manea Spas within the Pearl Resorts & Spa family. The spa incorporates authentic Polynesian treatments by professionals thanks to a dedicated products line based on natural flowers and plants.

Moreover, to aim to offer guests the most authentic Polynesian experience possible, the resort has dedicated each Monday to a program of Polynesian traditions, including a host of culinary and cultural activities for guests to discover the Polynesian lifestyle.  The demonstrations include opening a coconut and extracting its elements; tying a traditional Polynesian pareo; learning to navigate a canoe; watching a traditional dance show; and lighting the under-ground Polynesian oven (the Ahi Ma’a), assisting in the preparation of its ingredients, re-opening and preparing its ingredients for a Polynesian meal.

Finally, in an effort to incorporate the Polynesian experience into all five senses, the resort has added various scent amenities to the rooms.  Prior to guest arrival, all rooms are spritzed with a signature tiare scent, the traditional Tahitian flower.  In addition, guests staying a minimum of three days in a Garden Pool Suite or Premium Garden Pool Suite are given a choice of mood scents upon check-in, which is incorporated into the private pool upon arrival.  Among the proposed scents are ylang ylang, coconut vanilla, tiare flower, citrus fruits, orange tree and green tea.
