Grenada's LaSource to Reopen in December
Grenada Property Shuttered Since Hurricane Ivan Sets Reopening Date
Grenada's 100-room, all-inclusive LaSource resort on Pink Gin Beach, closed for almost three years due to Hurricane Ivan in 2004, plans to reopen on or about December 15. Although the spa resort will open its reservations books on September 1, bookings will be accepted for February 1 and beyond in case "certain supplies that we are awaiting have not arrived by the time we open," a spokesperson said. As the opening date nears, the resort will update its timeline if supplies and inventory are in place; in that case, reservations will be taken for the holiday period and January.
The resort will be all new, from pool decks and three bars to everything in between, including a new deli, air conditioning in a section of the Great House restaurant, upgraded guest rooms and bathrooms and the addition of a second pool and Jacuzzi. Time for a return visit to Grenada!
